Glass that Resists Where Others Fail

Standard soda-lime glass fractures with sudden temperature changes. Ceramic and borosilicate glasses have extremely low coefficients of thermal expansion, allowing them to resist temperatures up to 700°C and severe thermal shocks without breaking.

These materials are manufactured by SCHOTT (Germany) and distributed through Abrisa Technologies (California, USA). We offer precision CNC cutting, edge processing, drilling, and custom shapes — all to your project's exact specifications.

Three Substrates

SCHOTT Robax®

Transparent glass ceramic. Continuous use up to 700°C. For commercial fireplaces, industrial heaters, and ovens.

SCHOTT Pyran®

Glass ceramic with excellent thermal shock resistance. For fire-rated applications, industrial lighting, and sight glass.

SCHOTT Borofloat® 33

Float borosilicate with superior optics. For instrumentation, sensors, additive manufacturing platforms, and laboratories.
