UL 752 certified laminated glass and glass-clad polycarbonate for fixed windows, facades, and storefronts. Exceptional optical clarity with Level 1 through 8 ballistic protection.
Ballistic Glazing
Armortex architectural bullet-resistant glass is designed to visually integrate with a building's standard glass. From normal viewing distance, it is virtually indistinguishable from conventional glass — the protection is invisible.
Available in two main compositions: pure laminated glass (multiple glass layers with PVB or polyurethane interlayers) and glass-clad polycarbonate (laminated glass and polycarbonate layers). The choice depends on protection level, acceptable weight, and application requirements.
Two Compositions
Multiple glass layers with interlayers. Greater weathering durability and UV resistance. Ideal for exterior applications and facades. Heavier.
Glass layers with polycarbonate core. Significantly lighter than pure laminated. Excellent for interior applications. Greater spall protection.
